RANT My sister is SO irresponsible, she’s spent half the day in bed, did a few of the things I asked her to do (and got her friend to do the other things — what), then she tells me that, despite agreeing to go and get bread from the corner shop about four hours ago, she decides to tell me HALF AN HOUR before it closes and I go out that she has no money, having spent all her money...

Pet peeve: When people ask me “where I’m from”  (and are never satisfied when I say England). I’ve never had anyone ask in any other way than extremely polite and curious, however; this really annoys me. Please stop trying to compartmentalise me. Thank you.

watched two films today...
whydofoolsfallinlove: 1. Coyote Ugly - I actually really liked it, it’s definitely my kind of film and I loved watching with my best friends as it made it so much better, especially as me and Nees pretended to be absolutely horrified by this sex scene… 2. Dead Snow - horror. This is the kind of film I would normally hate, it was norwegian, so its a subtitled film and it’s all about Nazi zombies...

Me and my sister were fed up of being in the house so we went to town and spent some of the food money my mum left us. I bought a red dress from the Salvation Army and the woman was like “Are you a ten?” and I was like yes bitch get it down from the window (but inside) and when it fit me I was so smug and when she said “How did you get on?” I said “Wonderfully it...

Symptoms of inner peace:
gigglygypsy: A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences. An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment. A loss of interest in judging other people. A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others. A loss of interest in conflict. A loss of the ability to worry. Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation. Contented feelings of...

I have to say, although the beginning half of the film frustrated me beyond belief (poorly acted Shell Cottage scenes etc), I loved lots of it, especially Alan Rickman’s portrayal of Snape on the windy hilltop after he finds out the prophecy and he says “Don’t kill me”, that bit was EXCELLENT really as I imagined it execution wise.

http://www.elc.co.uk/Fire-Fighter-Helmet/117037,default,pd.html But I fear she is too immersed in popular gender stereotypes to be interested. Sigh.  I think I was a bit of both when I was younger: I played with Barbies until I was ten, and was given pink when my sister was given purple (damn stereotypes) and I liked nail varnish (still do) BUT I always played a guy in like imagination/role...
